More impressive? Ali beating Foreman or Mayweather beating Pacquiao?

Ali was more impressive because people thought Foreman was unbeatable and Ali stopped him. Mayweather’s victory over Pacquiao was impressive because he totally shut him down and took him to school.

Come on now, you only have to look at who was the favorite to answer that question.

Mayweather were an overwhelming favorite to beat Pac when they faced off.

Ali on the other hand was a clear underdog, with some even believing he would be badly hurt.

Ali all day! A better example would have been Hagler-Leonard vs. Foreman-Ali imo.

Floyd was bigger than Pac and lost 4 rounds on 2/3 scorecards in his own back yard so don't exaggerate.

Floyd was the bigger man, who waited for his opponent to age knowing his style ages better, waited until after we all saw Manny get KTFO by JMM, and Floyd got busted for cheating but paid off the commission for a bogus exception to cover his roiding. Plus the win was a boring points win where he hugged more than he punched.

Ali was the underdog and knocked out the seemingly unstoppable George Foreman.

The judges were nice to Pacquiao because the best you could give him was 2 out the 12 rounds so the correct scores were 118-110. Everyone including Pacquiao deep down in his heart knows Mayweather was the better fighter.
