I tend to agree with these. As for Juan Diaz, unless he can put up more power in his punches, he won't go far in his career.

JMM beating a YOUNG hungry prime top level warrior with CRAZY stamina, skills, and workrate.

For the casual fan, YES, Pac beating DLH seems greater

for the TRUE fan

JMM beating a fighter like Juan Diaz is much more important and much more impressive.

the JMM-Diaz fight was impressive because of how close it was.
But the Pac win over DLH was a greater accomplishment in terms of legacy.

 

They were both very impressive victories, hence both men being on top of the P4P charts.

The main difference between the two is Pacquiao beat up an over the hill weight-brained older fighter who wasn't physically equipped to put up any sort of fight on the night, whereas Marquez was facing a younger, stronger, energetic and hungry fighter who was prepared to leave everything he had in the ring that night.
