before they both fought the Pacman fight was more impressive... afterwards, Marquez. DLH offered a pathetic punch output and no resistance. What could have been a great win for Manny becomes a meaningless fight against a clearly drained and diminished DLH (how anyone can even say otherwise on the weight I dont know).

Many times it is. Especially when the fight is a war.

But just because you are an underdog before the fight, and come fight night your opponent is completely shot, it doesn't mean that you beat a prime dangerous fighter.

To me, as soon as the first minute of the first round ended, ODLH became the underdog. If you can't understand that, then you're hopeless pretty much.

you could twist it another way.

Is beating the guy who fought to a Split Decision against Floyd Mayweather just 18 months earlier impressive? Not only beating him but completely dominating him, winning every round and then knocking him out? Not only that but moving up 2 weight divisions in one shot to do it, and moving up 3 divisions in 9 months, and making him move down only 3 pounds, less than half a division, from where he fought 6 months ago, when he shut-out Steve Forbes.

Unfortunately for your argument, DLH had to cut massive weight to make 147, and even weighed less than Pac fight night. And unfortunately for your argument, being weight drained, past primed, and growing old over night are common occurances in this sport.

So what happened 18 months before doesn't necessairly have much to do with the current state of the fighter 18 months later, especially a fighter who has been boxing pro for 16 years.

That doesnt make it unimpressive, why cut the fact that 90% of the boxing community picked Oscar.
Oscar wasnt prime wont deny that,A former flyweight beating a former middleweight beltholder is impressive no matter how you spin it.
Nacho and Dundee both said he was in great shape.
Blame Oscar. Fact is Pac gave the goldenboy the beatdown of his life when he wasnt suppose to. Fact is he made him quit.

Do i think its better than Duran Barkley? Ofcourse not:patsch
    Its still very impressive though.:yep

    That totally makes it unimpressive!

    Past prime/Weight Drained/Old/Weighs less than Opponent/

Even Freddie Roach says he knew DLH was DONE. Freddie Roach! So if Freddie Roach says that, who wanted the fight, then where's the glory in beating an OLD, SHOT, and to top it off weight drained fighter.

NNaaaaaahhh youre reaching .... who believed Roach? Did you?
Please. JMM beating Juan diaz is more impressive?:rofl
I think Juan diaz is good but going up to fight almost 3 divisions up to fight a welterweight isnt?? LMAO.
All of Oscar's advantages(allstar corner, physical advantages, solid chin)
    Pac took away.
Was Oscar prime? ofcourse not :goodbut thats still more impressive than beating a post nate weak punching JD who was giving JMM hell the first few rounds.:scaredas:

    Answer this, what's more immpressive:

    A. Beating a shot, weight drained, old fighter who has shrunken himself to a division he has not fought in in nearly a decade, who weighs less than his opponent who has weighed in at 145+ in his last three bouts, and who has lost 4 of his last 7 fights.

    or

    B. KO a young warrior with one small SD blemish, whose never been KO, and who is considered top 3 in arguably the deepest division in boxing.

Ask yourself that question 4 months ago, :yep you cant be that biased Oscar gave floyd hell not long before that. Oscarwas 145 months before the fight fyi.LMAO.
Pac took a great risk, JMM did what he was supposed to do in a not so dominant fashion.

Former flyweight making Oscar(former middleweight)Quit in his stool > JMM in a competetive match against a chubby light hitting but active Diaz.
Lets see how history judges it.:happy:happy:happy
