Pac's win was more decisive and one-sided.

But JMM faced a stronger opponent.

    Answer: JMM's win.

    1. diaz got the interim title from santa cruz and not from morales.
    2. casa is not the best lightweight champion for beating katsidis. he should not even be a champion if we will see the santa cruz fight.
    3. its a good win and stoppage but he was suppose to do that since casamayor is clearly gassed and shot. does that mean that castillo, corrales and freitas have less power than marquez because they failed to stop casa?

Casa looked much fresher and sharper than I expected.

Diaz wasn't anything much, just a tough guy. Casa - even a faded Casa - is in a whole other league.

Casa has the ability to box and Diaz doesnt. Thats why I think it's a better win.

I thought he was shot after the Santa Cruz fight too, but he surprised me by pulling out the victory over Katsidis, who would almost certainly blow out Diaz or Santa Cruz imho, and looked very good against JMM. He didn't look in his prime, but he looked pretty damn sharp and strong.

....got me there, but you had to know Diaz was a sitting duck and didn't stand a chance if a faded Morales arguably beat him after he had just gotten blizted by Pacquiao.

I'm leaning towards the JMM victory. I thought his KO of Casa was a bit of a surprise and very sweet.

I'm just saying, David Diaz recently beat the guy who recently beat Casa. People need to stop acting like CAsa is on a whole other level than Diaz. He isn't.

Casa still had his title vs JMM as a result of CORRUPT judging. Not a close fight, not judges scoring a fight differently than fans on TV, but straight up corruption.

Pac would have blitzed Casa like he did Morales the 3rd time around, and Casa would have crumbled.

That being said, JMM ****ing owned Casa. Great win. JMM is a great fighter himself, but people should not use every good thing JMM does to discredit Pacquiao. Discrediting Pacquiao does not make JMM a greater fighter, regardless of what ppl on ESB think.

At the end of the day most people will think Casa is better than Diaz not by their recent ring performances but only based on the popularity of the fighter.

he is but i still credit this as a great win since marquez was moving up and did stop casa. casa still has skills and did great on the early goings but one thing to notice is his regression in speed and stamina. actually, i liked more for pacquiao to fight casa then more than diaz since it would be an easier fight with much more reward because people still think highly of a faded casa than a david diaz. but in reality, this version of casa would get stopped by david diaz in the later rounds if they will fight.

you seem to conveniently forget that that was not 1 punch! Diaz pummeled Santa Cruz' body in the 9th and was backing up Santa Cruz throughout the 10th

not 1 punch at all. Even if Diaz had not knocked out Cruz in the 10th, it was only a matter of time

heres the end of the fight

casa was lucky because of outside factor (judges). diaz got lucky beacuse of his own doing (tenacity and determination). it should not be compared as equal.

well i'm not here to argue that pac's victory was more impressive since both victory was equally impressive for me and would certainly want a third fight between them.

Hard to say. Just goes to show how evenly matched JMM and Pacman are, whatever the judges say...
