Maybe Marquez Body shots had somthing to do with him tiring. He also had his best rounds in 9 and 10 so how could he be CLEARLY tiring. Casa isn't what he was but you act like he is hector Camacho. He is the lightweights version of BErnard Hopkins.

Casa was not shot, but EM was.:patsch :yikes

doesn't matter, you want to compare the two. Pac knocks Morales out in 8. Took JMM 11 rounds. Morales was 30, Casa was 37.

You look like an idiot when you want to lessen Pac's accomplishments.

Well If the judges weren't stupid, a shot Morales would have won a title over David Diaz. But thanks to the stupid judges, Diaz remain the champion and after that Pac was begging for that fight to happen.

As far as casa vs cruz as you love to bring that up. You won't admit the fact that casa was coming off a year layoff but oh well.

both were impressive. Diaz is very limited but still it was expected he would give Pac some trouble at his first fight at 135 but that didnt happen he was simply destroid.
and JMM was masterfull against a past his prime Casa but not a shot Casa,i think this Casa would beat Diaz.and JMM did something nobody did he koed Casamayor.

two very good debuts for Pac and JMM at 135.

if it wasnt for that ****er DLH we would see the trilogy.

Did you see the **** that was opened over CAsa's right eye? CAsa's corner was hidding it everytime the ref went over to look at it. It might have been stopped had it been a dif ref to call the doc over to look at it.

By the way Diaz wasnt a teenage sensation when he fought pac either.

You look like an idiot for not getting your fact straight but oh well. Umm who's been in many wars Morales? or Casa? Who gets hit more often Morale?s or Casa? Who look more as a shot fighter in last few fights, Casa? or Morales? If you say casa then you clearly are an idiot no offense.

JMM over Casa a 3 time champion and olympic gold medalist. Diaz was a paper champ.

I hate the "Diaz beat Santa Cruz who beat Casa, so Diaz is as good as Casa" logic. So I guess Mayorga and Mosely are on the same level since Mayorga beat Vernon who beat Mosely, but we all know thats not the case.

People will think of Casa as better than Diaz due to thier recent ring performances, as well as his past ring performances. Take a look at thier last two fights and see who is better.

Diaz vs. Montano(15-5-2)- He looked limited, and ineffective and punched his way to unanimous decision against a tomato can.
Diaz vs. Pacqiao- Destroyed by #1 pound for pound fighter in 9 terribly lopsided rounds

Casamayor vs. Katsidis (23-2)- Slugged his way to a KO against young, undefeated at the time, knockout artist.
Casamayor vs. Marquez- Fought on even terms with #3 pound for pound fighter for 11 rounds before being KO'ed.

Anyone who says Casa and Diaz are on the same level is absolutely nuts.

At this point, they are basically on the same level. :deal

One is a limited but tough and durable boxer at his prime whose notable wins in his last three fights were against an old Morales and knocking out a b-level in Sta. Cruz (who unofficially beat Casamayor).

Casamayor, at 37 years old, who resumed fighting after over one year of inactivity, fought Sta. Cruz, whom he controversially defeated, (and many people thought it was a robbery) and then struggled with Gatti-type Katsidis before pulling off a knock out win in his last two fights. When you are a slickster and struggled against a crude fighter in the mold of Katsidis, there is something wrong, and it was obvious Casa was not the same fighter he used to be.

-Casamayor looked shaky, but he still managed to knock out Katsidis, a strong opponent, at his own game.
    -Diaz struggled against Montano....who?
-Casamayor got schooled by Santa Cruz, and Diaz again looked bad against a terribly shot Morales.
-Diaz got a serious beatdown courtesy of Pacquiao and showed he had NO BUSINESS FIGHTING THE ELITE.
-Casamayor fought evenly enough for 2 judges to have it 95-95 before the knock out with Marquez showing he was and elite fighter and still is close to being an elite fighter.

    Not so even.

Absolutely he isn't the same fighter, but Diaz's last fight and Casamayors last fight against elite fighters show who belongs at that elite level. Diaz got executed, while Casamayor was in a close fight up to the 11th.
