More impressive: Pac's win over Diaz or JMM's win over Casa??

Wow, he beat Zab Judah as an amateur...that means ABSOLUTELY nothing here.

So, how come Casamayor did not show his elite skills against Sta. Cruz and Katsidis?

Did it ever occur to you that perhaps, JMM was not just able to dominate this guy as much as we have expected him to, and allowed a close fight before putting an end via a TKO?

He showed he was elite against katsidis by knocking him out, even while looking vulnerable.

Did it ever occur to you that Casamayor is a good fighter and that is why he fought evenly with Marquez?

How about his fight with Sta. Cruz?

He is a good fighter but fading fast, and it showed in his last two fights prior to the JMM fight.

In fact, he was down in each of those two fights as well, just a reminder that his legs might not be the same.

And IMO he was not really fighting evenly against JMM. He had his moments but JMM was shooting him down with all those combinations.
Not dominating like Pac did against Diaz but JMM was winning rounds and hurting Casamayor in the middle and latter rounds, which I expected him to do.

At the end of the day, at this stage of their career, based on their last few fights, both Diaz and Casamayor, are about equal in what they brought to their fights against Pac and JMM respectively: a rather easy fight. The only difference was the way on how they lost. One, a nearly shot slickster, was methodically being cut off into pieces in a tactical fight before being stopped, while the other one, limited, slow but at his prime, was made to look like an amateur before being knocked out senselessly in an entertaining one-sided affair.

pac v diaz was a total domination. jmm v campbell was a very competitive fight. performance-wise, i think pac was more impressive, but b/c casa was a bigger name than ddiaz, jmm win over him was more impressive resume-wise.

The way they lost is what seperates them, Diaz got made to "look like an amateur" by a pound for pound fighter even while Diaz was still at his prime. Casamayor wasn't, even in his faded state.

Pacquiao's performance was way more impressive as he almost or win every rounds of that fight. JMM on the other hand got tagged a lot. I see a massive decline in JMM's ability. No doubt he will be koed by Pac at 140..
But in terms of opposition Casa is a bit tougher. So i gave credit JMM for that.
