More impressive resume, Hopkins or Pacquao, who you think?

He's a Calzaghe fanatic mate, therefore doesn't care much about resume, so don't expect a fair assessment of B-Hop's.

It is most definitely close IMO. Hopkins is not getting his due on this thread. Excellent resume, wonderful career achievements, and an absolute Master Boxer at his peak. If you ever want to show a non-fan how boxing is done and you don't have a Sweet Pea dvd to hand, stick in Hopkins-Trinidad and just enjoy the art form that is boxing.

Excellent resume? Maybe if you just look at post 2005. Hopkins' resume is closer to Joe Calzaghe's than it is Manny Pacquiao's.

Can't tell, the fact that Bhop is still at the top of his game in his 40's is a plus

I disagree mate. Hopkins's resume is clearly better all-round than Calzaghe's, and only a little behind the Pacman's.

I voted Pacquiao... it would have been nice to see who voted for who but yet again the poll wasnt made public.

    :|

Polls should be automatically open for viewing, there is no logical reason for a poll to be anonymous.

    :patsch

Anyway - Pac has achieved more & has better names on his record IMO, he is above Hopkins for me.

It's very close, but I lean slightly towards B-Hop:

In my honest opinion, Bernard Hopkins and Joe Calzaghe's resumes are better than Pacquiao's. After all, neither Hopkins nor Calzaghe lost during their primes. Can't say the same about Pacquiao, who lost to Erik Morales in his prime.
