Numerically, Fury had more pounds on Usyk than Margarito had on Manny, but don’t weight differences make more of a difference in the lower weight classes?

    Usyk is 6'3 over 220.

One of the weirdest things about Usyk being overrated is hes gotten people to believe that hes Sam Langford. Theres an abundance of HWs his size that have won theres an abundance of HWs who've overcome bigger differences and won. Haye and Chagaev beat Valuev fairly recently. But people are going to pretend Usyk is making P4P history at HW.

Manny v Margarito changed or should have changed how we handicap weight. Its not just a 112er winning a belt at 154. Manny could probably have won at 160. Its the dominating nature of the win and how much damage he inflicted. Smaller guy beating a bigger guy in a hard fought decision is exactly how you expect smaller guy to win.
