More impressive win? Holyfield/Tyson 1 or Pacquaio/Hatton?

Evander opened up as a 28/1 dog & 18/1 at the the 1st ring a ding, this fight had the same furore about it as DLH/Pacman, miss-match, evander shot & could get killed in there ect & Even Don King had publicly promised 2 refund 1/2 the PPv costs 2 any buyer if the fight did not go 3 rounds:yep

I was there 2 watch this incredible upset & what struck me most was the way the crowd spun on a dime when Tyson was put down in the 6th with the crowd chanting HOLFIELD, HOLYFIELD, thats when the guy behind me punched his girlfriend on the nose:shock:

Yeh this is a massivly more impressive victory as Evander was th big underdog & Pacman was 2/1 on too Flatten fatton:smoke

 You know what, you're right. It is a stupid question.

But i guess i'm not talking about just the win itself but how the win was accomplished. Pacman just completely demolished the lineal 140 lb champ in 2 rounds. But yeah, in retrospect, Holyfield/Tyson is much more impressive. Dumb question by me. FAIL.

I know what you mean though, K22. The manner of Pacquiao's victory was purely sensational, and that knockout will be on reels 100 years from now right there next to the step-back counter right Holyfield buckled Tyson with before the stoppage.

i voted pacman over hatton as pac had stepped up and fought the king of 140 and demolished him.

how can you get more impressive than that.

People were literally saying that. YEP. True. The shock wasn't even the first KD, or the eventual stoppage. The shock was that Holyfield was still there when the 3rd opened. That was shocking all in itself.

Yep! & thats when it all started 2 "kick-off" as we say over here, ****in fights everywhere:lol: obviously down 2 the fact that everyone had just spunked up all their $$$$$$$$$$$ big time as the safe "er" commonsense/easy money bet at the MGM book was for it 2 be over & out by the 3rd:p

My gambling mad wife put $200 on Evander at 18/1, i'd cleaned out the safe deposit box & just left her $200 as i'd told her not 2 bet on this fight or HOLYFIELD, 18/1 was for mugs like her:-( it goes without saying i never say a dime:fire

I can only imagine. :rofl :thumbsup That was the last time American fans went truly insane at a boxing match... We were bouncing off the walls at a friend's party. PANDEMONIUM.

    Holyfield.

Anyone who knows anything about boxing knew that Hatton wasnt on Pac's level.

Although PAc shocked me by KOing Hattons so easily, Holy - Tyson was the bigger fight and probably the bigger shock.
