Of course, I would like to see both, but consider Joshua - Haye as a 50/50, and Joshua - Parker as a 90/10 type of fight.
I'd rather see him fight Haye because of the more problematic style match up. Joshua blows Parker out in style.
^This. Haye would almost certainly KO Joshua, so I'm up for it. To me Joshua/Parker is a pick 'em fight.
Haye is a much better fight. Joshua's team won't ever allow that fight.. Not yet at least. Haye is a very dangerous fighter and his style is Joshua's antidote lol
I have great respect for Parker, but Joshua is bigger and stronger. Parker's only decent opponent was Takam, and everyone could see that Parker had flaws - he was half-open and it could be extremely dangerous against Joshua. Like AJ or not, but we have to admit that he is monstruos puncher. I consider Parker No 10 HW now.
My gawd!! ....Pleeeeeease dear god make David Haye go away and the nightmare of all the forum posters who think that the myth of him being a great fighter disappears.....At this point he is a sometimes fighter and middle of the road gate keeper jorneyman but because of the British fans he stays propped up.....Brits!!....you have Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and even Hughie Fury.....give it up for the phony David Haye.
Would rather aj fight Parker. Haye may cause him more trouble but he don't deserve it plus rather see fresh blood getting opportunitys.
I predicted this **** before the Takam fight, no matter how the fight with Takam played out Parker was never going to get full credit for his performance- at least from British fans. It's moot even having these discussions. David Haye is smaller than Parker ffs, and considers Parkers last opponent better than his own second best win Joshuas best fight is always going to be another British person - Dillian Whyte was already seen as a better fight than Parker and Parker would make him look amateur. Wilder would only get considered worthy as he has a belt, but he has done way more than Joshua and would probably win at this point. Let's see how Haye goes against a near 50 year old first.
I can understand why a lot of people resent Haye being in a position to get this fight but I think he presents a tougher, stylistic match-up for AJ. His speed and power would be a problem for any Heavyweight not named Wlad. As far as I know, Parker is the mandatory and I doubt Hearn wants AJ to vacate the title, so I think we might get to see both.
I like to see AJ vs Parker first, I think it's 50/50 fight and fight Haye after which I think it's a 50/50 fight also, both will be great and the hype for the Haye fight would be awesome!
AJ has to fight Parker next due to him being his mandatory, but the best fight on Paper is Joshua vs Haye. Parker beat Takam. Now he gets a shot at he title against another fighter with a similar record-minus the 100% KO record. Its a reasonable assertion that both have only faced average Joe opponents who were there to build up their records and the hype as they scaled the padded record ladder we call the ratings. Haye and Parker are interesting fights that will serve to show what they have got in the arzenals, and what they dont. Haye has something that Parker does not, and that is experience and the ability to box with good defence. Knocking over cans at the sideshow is different from being a sharpshooter at the Olympics. I look forward to seeing what AJ and Parker are made of. No way in hell does Hearn try to get out of fighting Parker. Thats a good fight for AJ right now. thumbsup:hat
