You're right, guys like Arum can dupe their fighters in order to get around testing. So what does that mean, that no one should request stringent testing due to the fact that they might have a shady promoter?
It's too late for that. Other promoters are looking at this and thinking similarly to benefit their fighters. Remember when Don King came on the scene, shined and played with the rankings as he so desires?, promoters later on followed track and still do to this day. This is another(new) game to play around with.
Its fairly simple, imo. Arum is manipulating this situation into a cluster **** of shadiness, and all press, fans, ect should be calling him out on his bull**** for it. Props to Bradley for sticking to his guns, except he should be more public about this. Put out some videos about how this situation is being manipulated after he already signed on how the procedures would go.
Montoya absolutely should not be writing articles like this given his active role as an adviser and creator of an alternate testing regime, one which commits many of the very same sins he whines about with respect to USADA and Nevada.
This sounds very much like Bob Arum. I dont think it has anything to do with Marquez vs Bradley, but imo Arum want to set a precedent on who actually does the testing in Nevada. Looks like Arum wants to set it up that those who test are one's he can manipulate. Bob Arum in a nutshell! :-(
Bingo. Not only can he manipulate them, but their tests aren't really meant to catch anyone to begin with.
