More moderation for the British forum? Vote in the poll

I think most posts are from a handful of people with multiple accounts, and they want every thread to be about Eddie Hearn being a conman or Joshua being a dosser, regardless of the original topic. I would either treat the British forum as an island where anything goes, or just delete it entirely, though that risks infestation of everything else.

 

Purely from my own perspective, there is one culprit who calls personally insults anyone who has a vaguely pro AJ or matchroom opinion and thinks anyone who shares an opinion with a person he has had a run in with is a alt account. I used to post on here under a different name but lost log in and when i do come back after my breaks he is back time and time again.

 

The signal theft is understandable and people on the UK forum do tell others to delete posts on the rare occasion any appear.

You have cracked the main issue.

 

The forum is dreadful and it’s pretty much due to two or three posters who just turn every single thread into a Joshua/matchroom one. It’s like Groundhog Day reading the same cut and paste tripe from them over and over again.

 

don’t know where all this shilling nonsense is coming from, as this is the most belligerantely anti-Matchroom boxing forum around. dozens and dozens of posts blaming Hearn for famine, pestience and death, same posters every thread banging their drum all day every day. not that I disagree but it’s so damn boring. get some new material fellas.

 

I don’t believe anyone is setting up alt accounts purely to report other posters. The reason the supposed “good posters” get banned has absolutely nothing to do with their views on matchroom. Also from a personal point of view I don’t think reading someone write “Joshua is a pudding” or “fat grinning Mexican” in every golovkin or Eubank thread is a good poster and certainly won’t be missed.

When you’re consistently getting banned from a board there has to come a time where you look at yourself and think yes I’m a phallus.

There are two alts posting/liking on this very thread unfortunately. Not much work needed, just a presence on the forum.

 

You've just proved the point, there are far more people who are pro Matchroom and report posters for nothing.

Mods, I've logged off here for weeks at a time because of this nonsense, only to log back in weeks later to see the same posters dominant on the forum. Losing you revenue. To be honest, I would have deleted my account completely if the forum allowed me to.

I got banned for “promoting signal theft” for saying about the fury chisora fight “I wasnt going to buy it I’ll watch it another way or watch highlights on YouTube”

 

I've never been banned or warned on this forum, but I'd like to delete my account now if that's possible? If you could let me know how that would be appreciated.
