I have many business associates in Japan particularly in the Kantu, Chugoku, and Chubu regions who I correspond with on a weekly basis and none of them have a goddamn clue who Spence or Crawford are. And the nephew of one of those business associates writes for a online boxing site which covers all boxing in the continent of Asia and my business associate told me that he told him it's exactly the same all across Asia.

I can personally attest that very few people in the UK know who they are either and those of them who do only know of them because of their visits over here when they fought Brook and Burns respectively.

They're no more well known over here than any of the other foreign opponents of Brook and Burns who fought them over here. Crawford is no more well known in Scotland than Beltran, Di Rocco, Indongo, Zlaticanin, Moses Paulus etc. are and Spence is no more well known in England than Bizier, Rabchenko, DeLuca, Zefara etc.

Inoue is much more famous in the UK than both of them are combined and there isn't an Asian person on the planet who doesn't know who he is.
