for those that are thinking he looks small compared to big george, think again. big george probably weighs more than 260. the other thing is that the foremans are naturally heavy boned and heavily muscled, so the look is deceptive, he may be heavier and bigger/stronger than he looks.
yeah, both guys were featured at The Today Show and George III is actually a couple of inches taller than his dad and around 240-250 lbs.
Yes, George III is a pretty big guy. He was on the Foreman reality show, and he's a lot bigger than his Dad....not fat either.
I wouldn't put too much stock in this; He can be a special case. I mean growing up around boxing all his life is pretty good experience by itself. And as a heavyweight he has better odds. One because the division is horrid and two because a little power can go a long way. Case in point - Sam Peter. The guy has little technical skills but because of his power was able to get a belt. We'll just have to wait and see.
also anthony mundine, no real amatuer expereince just lived in the gym and his fathers boxing world. also an athelte in a tough sport so it kinda galvanised to make a decent enuogh boxer.
You forgot that Samel was able to take a punch then he was able to take muda****ing bomb and still keep coming. and earlier he had Hard will and Big Heart. this is not to be mess with you but I just gonna say how the things are today in Americans heavies: they are mentally soft like ****, they will go nowhere. Talent is still there but with that over cosy life style and lack of self-discipline is getting those slobs no where.
well the man is 60 years and financially set, at his age and with his money I guess it does not really matter what he wears.
Rocky Marciano... had no boxing ability and had what, 10 amature fights?? Holds the greatest record of all time in boxing. Old Joe Louis or not, he defied the odds. this kid has a better shot than he did by far
Mavis Frazier I think you mean. And yea good comparison although Mavis had some amateur experience if I remember right.
yep pretty good amateur experience also marv was a decent boxer with handspeed...kinda like mel taylor ,poor comparison but the bouncing in and out style not really a slugger....anyways most feel that he tried to become more like his father i.e. left hooker. and squared up alot. the ritgh hand that holmes lands on him is a perfect example of this
