Give me break, mate! Someone like Miranda had a record of 25 victories with 23 victories by way of knockout when he met Abraham in the ring. Impressive fight record,eh? However, when you have a closer look at it you will find out that he fought bums with records of 1-17 in his 18th or 19th pro fights. Miranda wasnt even able to finish off an severely injured Abraham who was running for his life in the later rounds of his encounter with that so called big puncher.Abraham would have butchered Miranda if he had been the one chasing an severely injured Miranda. Yes,Haye's record is good.No doubt about it! Nevertheless,he hasnt proved **** at heavy weight. His heavy weight skalp Bonin is an extremely limited Polish journeyman who is no match for any decent present heavy. And lets be honest there are quite a bunch of cruiser who would also kick Macca's ass.Probably not as fastly and impressively as Haye did though. Haye is a very promising boxer, and I am looking forward to his next fights at heavy weight, but he for sure is more overrated on this forum than Abraham. As some posters have rightfully pointed out: nobody has yet claimed that Abraham would beat and school Wladimir Klitschko whereas a Haye victory over Wlad seems to be almost a done deal.
Well he could if they fought now! Back in the day its highly unlikely. Also, how are these guys overated? Abraham gets plenty of criticisim on this board and Hayes shortcomings are well documented.
haye is the undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world, miranda doesn't even know what a belt looks like.
Good point, relentless! Haye is the undisputed cruiser weight champ right now.No doubt about it! I just doubt that Macca is such an impressive trophy in Haye's collection. Dont get me wrong! Macca is a decent fighter, but I for my part think that there are quite a few cruisers (Alexeev,Tokarev,Kraj, and so on) out there who can beat Macca.
Both fighters are simply knocking on the door of true recognition... If Abraham can beat Miranda, he'll be looked at as a serious threat to take away Pavlik's belts although I seriously doubt that could happen ! As for Haye, he just needs to seriously impress with solid tune up fights at heavy and he'll have his championship fight given on a silver platter ! Haye has good talent but can he deliver against the big boys ? Remains to be seen....
Fighters I consider overrated right now are Bernard Hopkins and Juan Manuel Marquez. At least both Abraham and Haye are winning fights impresively.
if you didn't have Haye's balls in your eyes you could find lots of evidence. try looking yourself instead of defending your boyfriend.
