Is it just me or does it look like Parkinson's is really taking its toll on Roach here?

Parkinson is degenerative. There is a theory that maintaining a mental and physical active lifestyle slows the disease down.

The irony that the very thing that probably triggered it with Roach, boxing, is the very thing that is now slowing it down. Eventually, he will not be able train any one.
    Sad really.

I know it's degenerative, I should have phrased it differently. But he really looks like he's struggling in these most recent vids. Not good for him, and not good for Manny or any of his other fighters if he can't work the pads properly with them. I'm sure he's still able to analyze quite clearly, though.

I think Freddie's pad work is impressive actually. Note how how keeps his hands in close and tight; many trainers 'catch' wide and high. Manny is fast as hell, it's gotta be tough for Freddie to keep up with him - Parkinsons or not.

Thinking the same thing myself but they are in the philipines and the weather out there this time of year is not as nice as it is in LA I assume..

The vid shows Manny and Roach looking to score off of that wide left hook to the body of Margaritos..... also like I said before their plan will be very similar to the Clottey fight plan as they look to just turn their man and counter...

Actually, I think he seems to be doing pretty good lately.

Check Roach out burning up the speed bag at 1:30

Some guy said, "same move each time", how many fkn' times do they show that BULL**** that Floyd does with the pads? Now THAT, friends, is some BOOOOOORING-ASS ****, and his ass-kissers are all screaming, like it's something they've never seen before.

Mike Tyson actually did drop Roach once when he clipped him with a left hook during their padwork routine. Roach said he got clipped and then everything went white and he hit the canvas.... but he just got up, dusted himself off, and went right back to work.

A bit of parkinsonian tremor is actually good for pad work and fighting, the head bobbing a bit more and the arm/hand movements a bit out of place with weird angles...plus the replacemnt of scar tissue in the brain stem/substantia nigra actually toughen the brain from sudden impact.
