Golovkin hits very hard but lets be real here, he hasn't beaten anyone of note, hasn't turned fights around like Jackson could with one shot. Jackson's power was unreal, when he hit you cleanly it's like he switched off your brain, you just drop like a sniper has just taken you out.
You're such a cretin. There is a reason why fighters like Foreman, Tyson, and even Tommy Hearns are ranked beneath this man in terms of power, so stop allowing your bias to cloud your sense of judgement you shitstain. STOP arguing for argument sake. This content is protected
Julian Jackson was arguably the hardest hitting non-heavyweight in the history of the sport. He didn't even have to land flush on someone to knock them out (i.e. Jackson vs Milton.) He had 1 punch knockout power in both hands and can knock somebody out while moving backwards (see Herol Graham fight.) His knockout of a top tier fighter in terrible Terry Norris was something else. Terry was actually doing well for himself right before he got knocked out. He was pinned on the ropes, Jackson nailed him flush with a right hand that knocked him out but Norris didn't fall down. The next 2 shots he nailed him with essentially finished off Norris' once promising career. He was a devastating puncher. If he nailed you flush, odds are his opposition was getting knocked out cold.
Spot on. In the Graham fight he was being completely schooled and battered. He was retreating into a corner then bang!! It was an astonishing punch.
I've heard past opponents and sparring partners say Golovkin punches hard with every shot, even his jab feels heavy and he carries that power through the rounds, it doesn't seem to fade. Jackson had one punch KO power. He hit very hard. One punch KO power then I'd go Jackson and constant heavy hands that break fighters down (if that makes any sense) Golovkin.
One punch power I'd say Jackson. The rest of his game wasn't so good though, but he did have amazing power.
Boxers like Jackson often are limited in other respects because ATG power covers a lot of short-comings. G-Man showed them up and he hit almost as hard...
Underrated post man. His power was the neutralizer; there were several instances when he was losing a fight and ended up winning by knockout. Some of the fighters he beat were exponentially more skilled than him, but his power could stop anyone in their tracks. Gennady is definitely a more skilled/complete fighter than Jackson. I just don't think he has that type of unnatural power that Julian possessed in both hands.
Look at the ****** alt trying to be clever with his screen name. Choke on your own blood and actually learn the definition of a word before attempting it usage.
I'll also take Jackson but there's not a huge lot in it. I'd say JJ was more "shattering" than GGG. Although some individual GGG Ko's like Ishida for example, demonstrate that he too can be devastating in that way if he wants to be.
Your profile Pic is very fitting of you. Every time I read one of you posts, I picture some toothless angry old fart on a rocking chair living in a wood in the middle of nowhere. I bet you chew tobacco and drink moonshine.
