I don't think PBF is a huge ppv draw and UFC 103 is shaping up to be a nice card. oDL was boxings big ppv guy I don't think anyone will touch the numbers he got.

I think they will be about equal.

Can the UFC successfully bill Vitor Belfort as a main event?
I know who Vitor is.. You know who Vitor is.. but people who only watch UFC and got into it in the last few years don't know who Vitor is.

I'm a huge fan.. and even to me Vitor is a questionable main event. I guess they have done worse.. but there should be another solid main event on that card. Crocop vs Dos Santos isnt a co-mainevent event imo.

If they put UFCs Fight night in PPV, it might surpass Floyd/JMM. The latter might not even happen I suspect.

I am leaning towards Mayweather/Marquez. I just do not see Belfort as a main-event right now. Do not get me wrong, Franklin (vs) Belfort, does sound exciting, but its been a while since Belfort has been considered a main-eventer. UFC 103 seems pretty stacked... but the Mayweather/Marquez undercard is still being conjured up. At first I heard Judah was leading the undercard against Matthew Hatton (brother of Ricky Hatton), but now I hear it might get cancelled. It sounds like a toss-up....:rasta

Are you insunuating that a Judah/Hatton (woohoo) undercard can tip the scale for JMM/Floyd? Id rather watch McFedries fight in the prelim than those two against each other.

I think the card as a whole while not great has the promise of Vitor making it back, it may not have the intrigue of a classic (or bust) matchup of Jmm/PBF but as a whole I cant see it losing the PPV battle.

You have to understand that watching UFC and having a get together is like bottled water now, its a ****ing lifestyle. Its no longer about whos fighting.. I know for a fact that folks dont even know whos fighting

Person A: "What you guys doing tonight?"
Person B : "Nothing, watching UFC I guess"
    Person C: "Whats UFC?"
Person B: "I dont know but we'll meet in Robs house"

your right in many ways, I have got every UFC ppv event since ufc 66, It started me my ol man then the next one my uncle and neighbour came over and now a bunch of buddies also, we ususally have 4-8 people for every event. I'm the only one who talks about boxing, it just doesn't get the coverage anymore and interest has gone down over the years.

As for Boxing, all the pinoys I know are watching UFCs..my brother in law whos half would always ask me, "Is Pacquiao really good?" Id say man this guy is a ****in pacific typhoon and then hed turn to most of his Filipino friends and would say "Hey guys ask my Brother in law about Pacquiao, I told you that guys a monster!" True story

This appears to be the undercard for Mayweather/Marquez

    Chris John vs Rocky Juarez
    Zab Judah vs Antonio Diaz
    Vicente Escobedo vs Michael Katsidis
    Joan Guzman vs Ali Funeka
    Abner Mares vs TBA

Thats a damn good UC..Now this would be a better card straight up. But UFC PPV still can come in higher.

I'm a casual boxing fan at best, big MMA fan, but I'll be at the pub watching Mayweather vs Marquez, it's a good card (for a change) and particulary interested to see the Judah and Katsidis fights! Go Michael!
