Curtis Sheppard was a harder puncher than darn near anyone.

You could admit that Sheppard hit harder than Marciano, without it having any implications for Marciano's power whatsoever!

I have no implied criticism of Marciano's power. I'm just illustrating how absurd it is that one unverified quote from Simon is treated as a given by a poster who clearly has an agenda. Have you or anyone else ever seen a reputable list of the hardest punchers in which Jersey Joe Walcott ranks above Joe Louis?

Yeah I totally have an agenda. Lmao you're a senile old man. At least I can think for myself. It's not 1950 where you have to load up an 8mm just to watch a fight. You're methods are out dated.

You realize anyone can form a list of hardest punchers right? It's all completely subjective unless they have done objective testing that verifies for certain who hits harder.

How do you even come to the conclusion that a list is reputable? If it lines up with yours? Give me a break.

I have a dvd player just like anyone else, I have Sky Sports, Box Nation etc why would you think otherwise?
I watched the Farmer fight yesterday, the Rigo v Loma one and the Roman vSalido and the Yarde vSjekloca fights this morning.
Yes I realise anyone can make a list of the hardest punchers of each division , p4p or whatever.
Now let me know when you find one that has Walcott above Louis just one will suffice!
Nice one with," senile old man ,"I haven't heard that one here before.:ohno

Why don't you tell us again about how tough you are?
    That was entertaining!:clapclap:

Your quote does not expressly say that GGG hits harder than Povetkin does it?

If I have to explain to you that human physiology has certain limits, then perhaps you need to go back to square one.

Why is Lebron James such a once in a generation phenom? Because he can move with incredible coordination and speed at his size. Normally, guys his size are good at banging the boards, setting screens or riding the pine.

Why is Bolt such a phenom in sprinting? Why aren't all sprinters 6-5, with those inherently longer levers? Because, typically taller guys can't sprint for sh*t. Bolt is a rare, rare case who somehow has the synapses and neuromuscular control make those long limbs fly.

The stuff that makes the human body - bone, muscle, tendon, nerves- has inherent limitations when combined. Bone density is a big part of this. You can only put so much of a load on bones before they fracture. Ever notice all the stress fractures and bad feet that giant b-ballers have (Yao, Rik Smits, Muresan)?

I think most boxing fans are aware that Golovkins mission is to unify at MW.
It's been his clearly stated goal.

This addresses nothing in my post. I'm talking purely about punching power not basketball or whatever. Valuev, Ustinov, and Big Baby Miller are examples of 300 lb fighters who punch with technique no worse than Foreman.
