I still can't get over this. If only fighters and trainers around the world who devote their lives to boxing were as knowledgeable as a young internet poster who trained at a gym for a few months and never even had any amateur fights. We'd have 300-lb heavybags in every gym. What's wrong with these people? Think of all the untapped potential out there!

I've told you before your reading of fights is absolutely horrible, you shouldn't be surprised if others aren't on the same page as yourself!

I used baseball, throwing a ball near the fastest, & hitting a ball about the furthest, as examples. Bill Jenkinson measured the latter, correcting for most balls being stopped in flight, in his book "Baseball's Ultimate Power".
The former you can see measured with radar guns.

So evidence is beyond anecdotal-but I do not claim it is definitive, just fairly compelling.
Why? Others have mentioned how coordinating a larger body is harder. I would add that mass & stregth are advantages, & power is generated in different ways (as in more this or that, heavy handed vs. speed & snap are examples...) But speed tends to decline when you get larger.
