Marquez. Older and has taken far more punches. If Marquez had been fighting armless punching bags like Pacquiao it would probably be a bit more even.
albeit jmm took a lot of hard shots from diaz and katsidis that put him down. pac has taken serious shots from cotto and margo too.
Cotto, yeah he took some good shots from Cotto, but took **** all from Margo, in all honestly. Pacquiao taking excessive punishment every fight just doesnt happen anymore. Margo gave him a couple, but just a couple, **** me dead he only threw 10 punches the whole fight.
physically probably Marquez but at the same time Marquez is a more cerebral fighter so it probably affects him less.

Marquez is more shop worn... he was in 2008 and even more now... its amazing the things he does even at such an old and physically declined age.
question is not about their conditions when they meet up this year as pac at the outset already had the age advantage. question is, in terms of their 7 seven fights, who relatively took more damage compared to their respective conditions when they last met? my contention is that while pac may be younger than jmm, he may have physically taken a lot of punishment going up in weight, moreseo than what is evident. sure jmm went down against katsidis or baby bull and cheated by floyd. but pac took serious shots from margo and cotto, or probably even clottey.
