The only thing that is embarrassing is your ever increasing references to male genitalia in your posts. I think you may be on the turn.

I voted DLH, just to try to make pugilist64 feel a little bit better.

But RJJ's been worse for longer, simple as that. I never viewed the Trinidad win impressive, that was like Holyfield-Savarese all over again, and felt there was a load of smoke and mirrors going into trying to make him look like a terrible threat to Calzaghe.

Yeah jones has been shitter longer but sometimes fighters grow old overnight and that is what has happened here. still a good win for manny, but it looks more special on paper than the reality. and that is that oscar was truly shocking.
on the night he resembled a shot fighter far more than jones.

Come on that was because of Pac:patsch
you kept asking why he wasnt throwing, analyze it again. He couldnt because Pac hits and gets out immediately..yes that fast! DLH may be past it, but him looking like that is definitely Pac's doing. He tried to exchange but was still outgunned, and got hurt. Tell me..is D. Diaz shot?

so a prime, or even close to prime oscar would have allowed himself to be so easily beat ?

According to the Roy Jones fan boys there is not one fighter in the World that is more shot than Roy.

    :rofl:patsch

Did Lacy? you know, sometimes "i couldn't do sh**!" happens...

Mijares v Darchinyan....who would have thought?!?

Point is..styles makes fights. Its hard to digest i know, but gauging a fighter if he's shot or not shouldn't always be the case especially if he's up against an elite fighter. If dela Hoya lost to someone relatively unknown, and on a B-level, via decision..then i will agree that he's shot.

    Now that's a surprise.

For the record, Jones is definitely more shot than De La Hoya.

Not really...he was decent against a decent smaller MW. Not saying Tito isn't a legend or a good fighter....but at this stage both men were pretty much sliding and Roy should have KO'd Tito! A prime Jones without any doubt would have ended that fight in 5 rounds at most.

Jones looke decent...he didn't look good in his win over Tito. By all accounts Roy should have looked ALOT better! And DLH completely dominated Forbes....Roy didn't completely dominate Tito.

I think DLH surpassed RJ in his last fight. RJ still has the power/hand speed.

I agree but I don't agree that DLH was never great! He was, he was just beaten by a PRIME GREAT fighter that is known as PAC MAN. Jones is more shot without a doubt but with that said Jones and DLH alike could be in the top 10 in their divisions IMO....Maybe top 15 for Jones.

But Berto had a tough time against Forbes although Berto deserved the "W" without a doubt...but DLH handled Forbes a lot easier than Berto who is the Young WBC champion at WW. So I agree that DLH is more "fizzled" than shot.
