Both elite boxers with supreme skills and are considered as masters of the sweet science. Which Olympic gold medalist do you think has more skills in their styles?

As talented and athletically gifted as Rigondeaux is I think Ward shows a lot more variety and versatility in his gameplan.

They are both talented. They are two completely different fighters though. Ward is more the size of his contemporaries at his weight class. Rigs at 5'2 1/2 to 5'3 and sometimes entering the ring at 122, the weight he weighs in at, is considerably smaller than his contemporaries at his weight class. At their best, I'd say Rigs is the more skilled boxer on the move. He has better, smoother footwork. His hand speed is equivalently faster, and he is a crisper puncher, and I'd say his defensive reaction times are better than Wards. Ward is a much better in fighter, and mugger though. Ward also seems to have a bit more variety in his punches offensively. Where as Rigs, when fighting bigger opponents usually settles into the parrying rhythm disrupting jab, and crunching straight left hand. You won't find Rigs trying to maul or mug people on the inside. He boxes and counters, but also stands in front of the opponent elusively pot shotting him at times as well. They are both excellent at what they do.

Rigs would be the type of guy that gives Ward or Mayweather problems if he was their size.

Rigondeaux is better at what he does than anything Ward can do, but Ward has a wider range of skills and is more versatile overall.
