You are being really harsh on Froch there. Kessler said he had a very good jab that you don't see coming, so for you to call it slow and lazy is just wrong. As for his rights im sure Bute would tell you they are a lot more swift, sharp and smooth, than you say too.
Froch is much better than you say, he has a sharp and strong jab, only case of it not being that is Groves I and maybe Ward too. He has a very high punch output too, threw roughly 1000, think it was just short of 1000, punches vs Kessler in the second fight, He has great physical attributes as you rightly said, but you also failed to mention how smart a fighter he can be too. Measures distance well and sets the range perfectly, Groves II, he is however very badly balanced at times, lazy with his defence and sometimes over reliant on the fact he will come on strong later on in the fight.

 

Slightly edging with Hatton but that is a fantastic question. Very hard to split

 

He kind of has in Ward.

Didn't do nearly as badly as Hatton either.

 

Hatton did tonnes better against Mayweather than Carl did against Ward.

I had Hatton winning after four rounds.

Froch lost every minute of every round against Ward.

 

And Ward can't quite be compared with a 2007 Floyd Mayweather, at all.

 

He was outboxing and countering Pacquaio in the 2nd round, too, until mindlessly jumping in at the end.

 

Andre Ward made a tit of him at his natural weight.

 

Why are people slagging off the one fighter just because they think the other was more talented? Absolutely pathetic

A simple old slugger doesn't have the foot work Hatton did when going forward, the ability to change angles on the inside going from head to body...

 

Hatton hardly did bad against Floyd did he...

In fact he's gave him more a fight than near on all of his opponents in recent years.

At least he went out on his shield, how many fighters have we seen go against Mayweather and after a few rounds just accept that there going to beat so settle for surviving the 12?
