More well rounded fighter: Salvador Sanchez or Mike McCallum

    Sal was just a helluva lot more talented, which offsets whomever was more well rounded.

    McCallum is overrated.

    Mark wanders a touch on some topics Rob for sure but perhaps he has things going on that you and i don't. The good thing is he's passionate and on here mingling with guys like you and i and trying to learn and enjoy the sport he loves.

    I would go with Mike, but well rounded is probably an arbitrary term that means different things to different people.

    McCallum was a better defensive fighter in my opinion...so that edges it for me

    Both were exceptional fighters ... that said I feel Sanchez may be a tiny bit overrated based on accomplishments ( many calling him one of the very very best feathers of all time ) as he died so terribly young while McCallum is underrated by many .. I think a prime McCallum would have beaten a 154 pound Ray Leonard, Hearns, Duran and maybe prime for prime beats Hagler ..
