He was more willing because he wanted to build his legacy, but now he feels he has nothing to prove and just wants money

Impossible to say just because Floyd had so many options and Roy didn't.

    Roy didn't have a Pacquiao/Margo/Cotto/Williams to duck.

if you see the video, Floyd challenges Mosley, Oscar in 2005. He challenged Prince Hameed, Casamayer, Zoo and other fighters. he stated the reason he left 135 so quick is because all the good fighters at that weight were ducking him. Young Floyd going for a knockout was a dangerous fighter because he wasn't a big draw yet, but very dangerous. Now he's the cash cow and everybody is calling him out. If I have 10 fighters calling me out and I fight 3 of them in a year, I guess i'm ducking the other 7:huh

Roy was more willing, but the opportunities werent really there. Roy fought almost everyone that he should have with the exception of maybe Benn or Michaelcheski, who werent exactly household names. People point it out now that he should have fought them, but the reality is that they werent superfights. Roy isnt really guilty of ducking, just making some unecessary defences against horrible opposition.

TRUTH. We can't say if Roy would have, although I'm sure he would have. Can't say the same for Floyd :nut

Both will never shake this stigma.

  14. RJJ's resume is ok to good. Mayweather is good to great. If only the midget fighter agreed to fight him and not run to fight another Mexican then this thread won't even exist. :deal
