Yo! :good Why wouldn't I want to see two highly skilled athletes fighting for the biggest prize in the world? To quote Librado Andrade when asked about fighting his brother, "We fought all the time as kids, why not do it for a million dollars?"
I like CHEF's version better. Beat Valuev, put on the freak-show that everybody wants to see (ie, Valuev eating canvas), and then force the fight with Chagaev. If Chagaev is anything like he's been before once he fights Valuev again he will horde the title for another 3 years comming up with BS injuries and showing up for lame mandetories.
Unification. That is much more important than David Haye. Hopefully Haye grows a pair and actually signs to fight in the ring rather than just running his mouth in the media. Talking **** for a year and then sits on the contract. Reminds me of a scared little kid who raised his hand in school saying "oh oh me, me"... then when the teacher calls on him he sits there in silence frightened, as he realizes that he didn't know the answer. I bet you WOULD watch Wlad vs Valuev.:yep There is nothing boring about that fight to me. Wlad would give Valuev a sound beating. If you couldn't find anything interesting in watching Wlad trying to navigate through Valuev's reach and height advantage, then I don't know what to tell you. I would find that very interesting for a guy like Wlad who is always either taller, or as tall as his opponent.
If it's cold and HEARTLESS and sick or what have you to say that Wlad and Vitali should fight then I guess it's also cold and heartless to refer to Chagaev as having 'lame injuries'. The dude can barely see at this point.
i'm sorry, but if you come from that kind of family, then your parents didn't do their job correctly!!
Then he has no business tying up the division. I don't think any real fight fan holds injury against him. injuries in sports happen too often to hold it against a fighter. But, if he is prone to injury and can't compete, do what Vitali did...retire and come back when your body is healthy. Don't tie up the division.
Hey, speaking of your position in Wlad's camp, were you on camera when HBO did the segment before the Thompson fight about Wlad and Manny's relationship? I remember them eating something on camera.
Chef is in the picture in his AV, just look there. Chef's a good dude overall, A little whiny from time to time but he's a good dude.
OMGZ NO! Jesus christ they're fighters. What's the difference between his brother fighting him or some random stranger? Don't be such a baby. It's the HW division for christ's sake.
give it time to work its self out... Vitali will not be around forever...he is 38. We have not had a unified champ in ..what 8 years (i think) You act like it has always been and the kiltschko are holding it up... Wlad gets the wba (Valuev then Chagaev)... vitali eventually retires, and Wlad goes after the WBC belt. See perfect:hey:yep
Dude, i don't think I'm the only one who shares this sentiment. Family is forever...boxing is just a job to these guys.
...and I think Wlad almost certainly would give Valuev a sound beating, so why not chance his arm a bit and fight Haye?
