It's just business, I do agree that fighters should be paid more. But on the other hand they are on the biggest brand in MMA and that equates more sponsor shipmoney
Would Manchester United sell Man City shirts?
Would Pepsi put 'Not as good as Coca Cola' on their cans?
Would you turn down a job because one of the other applicants was more qualified?
And as for me being a Zuffa fan, yes you keep concentrating on Dana White and his childish little rants all you want, I chose to ignore him, he's an ******* who I dont let ruin my day. I just like to enjoy the fights in which ever org, pure and simple

I believe I'm the case in point. I am annoyed by Zuffa's business practices, which have already played a role in my decision in not purchasing their fights, though I still watch them. If I were someone who purchased any Xyience products before, I would switch to another brand.

Fortunate for them, I think Xyience is a garbage brand. But, they brought to my attention the name of their competition, which I will be sure to try out now.

There is a certain ugliness about the business practices of the UFC. I'm averse to them, and they will find a significant amount of people are. I dont agree with Fatcity about anything usually, but I do agree with him, that the UFC is like the Ugly American personified, or businessified.

It's ingrained in me to hate it. Being someone who has seen its negative effects on an international and military scale. I had to live with it's consequences for several years, and am very familiar with it.

I sympathise but that's life I guess. Nowt wrong with wanting the best for the fighters. Im not a fan of how Zuffa treats their fighters, but if they arent happy they can leave when their contract is up. They are adults and should look after their own interests.

  4. You get the stick from your boss much? :hey

  5. This company is shameless. I hope some of these fighters unite and start putting this offensive company in their place.

Its not up to the fighters. The fighters have already shown they have trouble organizing an independent org from the big wigs. It's up the the fans to make things change.

Funny parallel. Fixed fights, fishy matchups, fishy decisions, and association with the Yakuza killed Pride. Not because the fighters left the org, because the fans found the association with the Yakuza, and people associated with it repulsive and a disgrace.

We can do the same thing.
