Who is the better of the 2?

I have only seen Moreno fight once and I was very impressed. It seems like alot of the hype is behind Rigo at the moment but who truly is the better fighter?

I have seen plenty of Rigo but not much on Moreno. you Moreno fans fill me in?

I like Moreno. He's not the most talented guy but he's very, very smart in the ring and he has good hustle. He struggled to a number of close decisions early in his reign vs Sidorenko and the thoroughly ordinary Cermeno but he seems to have elevated his game.

I think Moreno's edge might be his work rate vs rigo.

I hadn't realized that Moreno enjoys reach and height advantages over Rigondeaux despite fighting at bantam. I do think however that Rigondeaux's a bit more defensively careful, even though Moreno is quite slick himself.

    Interesting fight to see.
Moreno is very technical but lacks the power to keep Rigo away.
Rigo- the shorter man-would have to figure how to penetrate his defense. But the key of this fight could be Rigo wearing down Moreno's cage rib until getting him open to counterpunch.
Moreno struggled twice with Cermeno who is nothing special.

I wish I could see more footage of Moreno. Just the one time I saw him I saw a very special fighter.

I know IB puts him up there with PBF as one of the most complete fighters at the moment.

the way he toyed with Darchiyan was impressive. But Vic has lost his touch and has become very predictable with his un orthodox style.

Slight edge to Moreno but Rigo's speed and power might shock him.

moreno is a defensive wizard, and has underrated punching power, is mentally tough and seems to be a good guy. rigondeaux is an assassin, simply put. I cant tell you who's better in all honesty.

I don't know Saul, I didn't mean to say the guy has no talent. Clearly the guy is agile and he has reasonably fast hands. But I think Darchinyan's plodding, predictable style and his disadvantages in height and youth made Moreno look better than he is.

When you watch Moreno vs Cermeno, Sidorenko, and even Lorenzo Parra its clear that this is a guy with decent talent who is successful mostly because he has good fighting instincts and more than that, he has the nature mentality and competitive spirit of a winner.

Moreno has experience unlike who rigo has been fighting lately. It will be a tough fight. Rigo's 200 plus amateur fights will hold him in good stead against Moreno. It will be interesting because I haven't seen Rigo fight some one with some big fight experience, except for Cordoba, no one else really stands out on his resume.Maybe the other one is Beranza? who i have seen several times and I rate as a good solid journeyman.

Rigo has one of the best timing of this generation. But I would say Moreno.
