I have just rewatched this fight. I've only seen a little of Moreno but it seems he gives more exciting fights against aggressive guys, like Vic. He was awesome here. He kept ducking under Vics looping right. It will be interesting to see how he deals with the straighter rights and more variety of punches from Mares. How he moved and controlled the ring was great, Vic barely caught him with anything with more than a glancing shot. Perhaps the best defensive display of last year when considering the quality of Darchinyan?

Hard to believe Vic was 1/2 favorite pre fight. Also hard to believe one press score judge had Darchinyan winning after 6 rounds.

Darchinyan was faded by then and a little earlier probably but Moreno should beat any fighter like that who is around that weight that I know of. He's at his peak as a stylist. I think he beats Mares and if he fights Donaire it's going to look ugly and sloppy for both. Stll this is a good win but I think he's moving on to better things and soon.

Moon would ice Moreno. Just batter him.

Moreno has that slick style that reminds me of another Panamanian: Hilario Zapata. Really nice fighter to watch right now. Just a shame that he ducked Donaire. I see him beating Mares but I'm not sure how he does against Donaire.
