    They are currently working on that fight.
    Santa Cruz resembles Mares, just hasn't been proved at the highest level.
    Moreno gave mares a competitive fight, just his lack of power coudnt keep mares off his ass.
    Interesting fight. I say Moreno by decision but can't rule out SC .

    Great news if this happens, can't think of a better fight at 118lbs.

    This would most likely crown a Lineal champion at Bantam for the first time in almost 26 years.

    I would favour Moreno in this fight. I think his movement would be the difference. Mares I think has faster feet when closing the distance and getting on the inside than Cruz.

    Good fight, not surprising this is happening. I think I'd pick Moreno here, Santa Cruz looked less than his best in his last fight against a guy who used some movement and Moreno will exploit that. I also think Moreno is a big step up as well.

    Win or lose I'd like to see Santa Cruz move up after this and look to fight Mares sometime this year or next. Thats a great action fight.
