Very classy guy indeed. Did you see him clapping Haye when he was announced as the victor? I hope he wins his belts back, I can see a rubber match vs Bell happening for at least one of the belts.
I really like Mormeck and still very highly of him. I think he will have more success in HW than Haye.
Mormeck is a class act and is good for the sport of boxing. He is my favorite Cruiser, I hope he gets his belts back.
2nd the theme of this thread. Mormeck is great and I hope he does get his belts back, with Haye going up to where he belongs anyway. Mormeck just had a bit of an off night. Got caught by Haye's power. I remember in his last fight, the way he attacked Bell...he was just unstoppable. Whenever he goes into the ring like that, he'll win it.
Mormeck's pre-fight talk showed all the signs of a man who's ready to walk away from the sport, not one who's ready to campaign as a heavyweight. He'd be better off retiring but if he doesn't he should stay away from big punchers. He's been KO'd badly in 2 of his last 3 fights and all 3 of those fights did him no favors as far as prolonging his career with the punishment he's absorbed.
