At least he'll be in shape for a beating, better in shape you are the less damage you take.

Unfortunately, Mormeck has no edge whatsoever over Wlad, size, power, technique, stamina, reach, style etc. The only thing were they are on par is the mental preparation

This fight is one of the most ridiculous mismatches in heavyweight championship history. It's taking place only because Mormeck is an easy sell for French TV. That's where the money for this absurd fight is coming from.

Let's get real about Mormeck.

He definitely lost to Oquendo, and by a wide margin, too. He very probably lost to Ibragimov, although by a close margin. He might even have lost to Maddalone (I haven't given the Maddalone tape an especially close viewing, but I did notice that Mormeck got bulled around, and was forced to clinch more and more as the fight progressed, especially in the final rounds).

I question if Mormeck is really even 5'11". He may be as short as 5'9". He's not a real heavyweight either: his 215 lbs is strictly steroid muscle. And no...Mormeck can't hit very hard.

I hope Wladimir gets the job over with in one round. I don't want to see Mormeck carried a few rounds.

It'd be a bigger upset than when Douglas stopped Tyson. This is such a bad defence... He does look a beast though.

Wlad has to knock this bum out and it has to look easy. Otherwise Wlad will look bad.. real bad. If this goes to the scorecards with a W12 for Wlad then it's basically an EVT win for Mormeck.

 

Peter was 243 and 241.5 for the Wlad bouts--fit. Wlad out-classed a prime, undefeated Peter who was widely regarded as the next dominant heavyweight, and demolished a war-torn but fit and determined Peter in the second fight. The second fight didn't mean a lot, but don't act like Wlad beat up Fat Peter in both fights when it was Vitali and others who hammered Fat Peter when he had the winnings to keep his stomach bursting. He couldn't have come back down to the low 230s and retained power even if he had the discipline because he has a huge frame and more importantly has always lied about his age. He's at least five years older than he is billed, which is widely accepted, and his metabolism had long since slowed like any 35-year-old who was billed as and claimed to be 28 or 29 at the time of the rematch.

Any links going into detail of these claims of Peter lying about his age? I know that practice is common amongst West African soccer players but it's the first time i've heard it said about Peter.

 

No matter how hard Mormeck trains, he cannot win. I see him taking a beating and suffering a ugly knockout in the middle rounds. Wlad will probably want to get him out of there within 8 at most.

Mormeck is so washed up and old its a disgrace this fight is going ahead. The odds are stacked against him.
