in a boxing match he would lose and lose bad. Silva strenght is not his punch. Its with his leg. Why can't people just enjoy these guys doing what they do best and seperate the sport. Just cause they are similiar don't mean they can transcend into the other sport and be win at the same level. Its a different set of rule that require different sets of skills.
It was a quote from Andersons mouth, and the thread was basically to see if anyone knew the validity of the quote, if anybody had an opinion about it and to point out ignorance over at another forum. What's your problem lobk?
Sherdog is so bad that when you ask them for who the p4p fighter is theyd say Fedor..and then theyd give the reason that hes not a big heavyweight Whats your Shitdog joke?
Thats a not a sherdog joke? Thats anderson silva giving the arm and Lutter taking it and therefore losing that mount. Had you started that this whole argument taht Silva didnt let lutter mount..then youd be fine
Silva is 1-1 in professional boxing. His loss came back in 1998, he lost by TKO in the second round against a fighter who was 20-2. Then, he boxed again in 2005 and won by 2nd round knockout that time around. Considering that he was much younger in his first fight, fighting against someone much more experienced... it is hard to tell how well Silva could do. His boxing has looked very good when I have seen him spar. I wouldn't expect that he could beat the top guys in the world. In an all out striking match, yes... not in a sanctioned boxing match.
I will say one thing though... some of the posts at sherdog make me laugh my ass off. Just a bunch of smart asses. Here are the first 5 posts, in a thread I just read. The thread topic was "Silva makes Lesnar look tiny" First post...
