I saw that this had won The Ring's Knockout of the Year in 1992, so I decided to order it and watch it. Anyway, this was a very good fight. Good back-and-forth action, with a terrific 7th (I think) round. The thing about the knockout is, I didn't even see exactly where the punch landed. The camera switches angles when he's throwing the punch. The punch was quick, and I guess it landed on the point of the chin and on a downward angle, because it looks more like a bodypunch, but the reaction is that of a headshot, not a bodypunch. Anyone see this fight?
I have "Rosario-Hiranaka" from 1992 on tape... The Jap dude smoked a listless Rosario in less than a round down in Mexico... :bbb It seems most folks missed "East-Hiranaka" later in the year... Poor TV coverage of the fight... Anyway, neither East or Hiranaka lasted long in the spotlight... Here today, gone tomorrow... MR.BILL:hat
