Morrison replaces Cleveland Williams

Liston is overrated AF, for one.

Second, Morrison hits way harder than Ali, who dumped Liston like a sack of spuds. He's at least got a puncher's chance.

Three: Williams landed his fair share on Liston. I think Tommy might well land too.

Does that mean he beats Liston? Probably not, but I think there's a reasonable chance that he might.

 

Liston hit a lot harder than Michael Bentt who dropped Morrison like a rag doll within minutes (and unlike Liston-Ali, these KDS were real). See? I can do it to.

 

I'll go further. I don't think Morrison could've beaten the man in the other corner either.

 

Say what you want about Morrison, but as a Puncher he was very dangerous, way sharper than Liston and faster. I'd bet big money Morrisons left hook was heavier than Listons, and sharper

Feel free to post proof on how Liston threw the Ali fight. A source I cannot yet reveal tells me Morrison threw the Bentt fight

 

I'll go further too, then, and say that if you truly believe Tommy Morrison couldn't ever beat Cleveland Williams then YDKSAB

 

Except Liston in full prime was more terrifying to watch. Morrison might have had to actually quit boxing after Liston (I always though he should have after Mercer but whadda I know).
