78-74 Mthalane, at this point Kuroda needs to sweep the rest to get a draw on my card (without a foul deduction or knockdown) but he deserves utmost respect for this performance. Many picked him to get destroyed easily by Mthalane despite his having size and age advantages. They weren't reckoning on his heart advantage.
Hell, even I only thought Kuroda would have a chance if Mthalane began to "look shot overnight" (if you can even call a flyweight nearly-two-decade pro veteran looking shopworn at 36 "overnight") - but Moruti looks fine. He is putting on a world class display and eking out a win over a tough challenger who's just that little bit not quite good enough to beat him, but giving him absolute hell in defeat.
