Once again Shane Mosely proved why he is without a doubt an all time great and true champion. He did this not only by beating Margarito but by fighting the top guy in his division. I was listening to an audio clip yesterday someone posted on ESB of Mayweather being interviewed by some radio host that was on Floyd's nuts like flies on ****...and remember Mayweather repeatedly talking about how Jones and DLH handpicked opponents throughout their careers whereas he consistantly fought the "best" competition.:patsch
....laughable when we're reminded of how he abruptly retired rather than giving the fans who made him rich the fights they wanted to see by fighting the best at 147 at the time...namely Cotto, Margarito, Paul Williams and Cintron prior to his rematch with Margarito.

This brings me to Mosely who throughout his career has been the embodyment of what a true champion should be by consistantly fighting the best. His back to back losses to Wright and Forrest tell it all....even in defeat, he fought the best two guys at 147 and 154. In his late 30's, in what many have said was the end of the road for Shane, he steps in the ring with the two most dangerous guys at 147, the two guys who Floyd avoided like the plague and fought each of them like a warrior....each time giving the fans their money's worth proving again his mettle, and reminding the boxing world what a true champion is supposed to be.....because that is what the sport should always be about if it is too thrive in the 21st century and compete against MMA....put away the greed and bickering over purses and let the best fight the best. Shane Mosely, i salute you.

Did Floyd seriously say that about Oscar De La Hoya???? :admin

Oscar has went in with Whitaker, Chavez twice, Trinidad, Quartey, Mosley twice, Mayweather, HOPKINS, Sturm, Vargas, Mayorga, Pacquiao...

Floyd has went in with Corrales, Castillo, De La Hoya, Hatton, Judah...

    Ridiculous.

Its in the clip someone posted yesterday....lsiten for yourself if you think I'm making it up. Mosely juiced for the DLH rematch and probably when he was at 154 to bulk up but that doesn't negate what he did last night and his stellar days at 135.

I was being serious...Mosely is a great champ...i wish PBF would fight these guys but he has been in a better position because of the way he has beaten everyone....mosely had to take this fight and margo is not that great obviously...but i like shane...hoopefully him and PBF get it on and we can see who is number 1 once and for all...at least AM is out of the pic cuz PBF beating him would have given him no credit again

and the thing about ODLH is he does handpick his opponents too...he has a tremendous resume but has lost most of his big fights...then lately he is fighting these tiny guys...like OBF at 154 and PAC and trying to get hatton....ODLH is no different than PBF he fights for money...which is fine

Of course Jones and Oscar hand picked opponents ..No one fought tougher comp in Gatti and Shamba Mitchel than Floyd ..Those two opponents eclipse any opponent of Roy and Oscar combined !

Mosley is a class act. They need to tear down the DLH statue at Staples Center and make one for the great Sugar Shane.
