Although i wouldnt blame Oscar for looking for the mega cash fights, i'm disappointed at him for choosing to fight Pac-man. i feel its the soft option fighting a much smaller fighter rather than going after Margarito who would be a much tougher fight which would be much better for his legacy.
While this is all going on Shane Mosely (even after his very poor showing against Mayorga) was looking to fight Margarito, which for him is the toughest fight out there. Shane would get MUCH less money for this fight than Oscar obviously would and less recognition if he pulled off the big upset at this stage in his excellent career.

The main reason i'm writing this thread is that i'm baffled by how MOST people rate Oscars career so much better than how Mosley's has been.
Most peolpe forget that Mosely fought excellent oppostion in his time. i know Oscar has the gold medal and won titles at more weights,(although in my opinion he shouldn't have won the middleweight) and fought Chavez and the like but it drives me crazy when people say he's far superior to Shane. After all Shane beat Oscar twice, and i also feel that although when he lost to Forrest and Wright he showed through fighters courage in fighting rematches against both, to no avail. Shane continues to go after the big fights losing a close decision to Cotto, and calling out Margo and Floyd before his retirement!

I just feel Sugar Shane should get a lot more credit than he has he looks for the Big Fights without demanding the Huge money Oscar does.
Shane Mosley is a true warrior who always wanted to and wants to test himself against the best!!

Two #1 P4P fighters in his last three fights, Pacquiao might be way smaller but you can't ignore the fact that he's #1 P4P and he accepted this fight. DLH's future plans also involves Williams or Margarito and his past record is what made him the huge superstar he is today.

Yes,but Moseley combines that with seeking the toughest opponents, not a big payday for bull**** opponents. Thats his point.

DLH is famous because all the bitches wet themselves over his smile and charm

not to mention selling records and singing and ****...and appearing on MTV's punk'd

Mayweather scored the same amount of fame, not only because he's a great boxer, but the NUMBER of appearances he made outside the ring...

WWE, Dancing with the Stars...i think he did a late night show with i forgot who...

Theyre not particularly none for being amazing in the ring...

Mike Tyson's fame came from beating and scaring the **** out of people...that was TRUE boxing fame...

Roy Jones fame came from all that crazy showboating he did...TRUE boxing fame...(although he did his fair share of makin music  )

This is particulary why they have HUGE names and make well over 15 mil with these bull**** fights...

Every boxer assumes now that since theyre on top that they should or could be racking in this kinda cash...they need to get that idea outta their minds and fast...unless they decide to make some appearances outside of the ring and ****...

yes but Oscars got enough cash to last him 100 liftimes so it shouldnt be the number 1 thing for him now!! i know where your coming from but mosely seeks the big bucks for fighting the people who are goin to challenge him the most!! (I know Pac-man is numero uno P4P but due to the size difference their is bigger challenges available to Oscar!)(

I wouldn't really call them "bull****" fights, especially DLH's recent fights. The only bull**** fight there is Forbes and it's a tune-up after a loss which can be justified.

3 in his last 5, you're forgetting Mayorga. Yes, I'm counting the Pacquiao fight with them.

Be sure Shane is looking for the Benjamins himself.
