Yeah, i guess i should be thankful this one is on regular HBO and can't really be a bad fight. But it just doesn't seem to have much meaning behind it and considering Mosely's age he should really be taking fights that reaffirm his legacy. The real sad part is that after he beats Mayorga he'll be looking for a remacth agains't Cotto like if he earned it or something.
Desired outcome: Sugar struggles a bit here n' there from the pressure but prevails via ring intelligence and eventually wears Ricardo down to score a 12th. round KO. Who's ****in' with me?!
True..^^^ But.... What If Mosley win's and get's a shot at Berto? (Insted of Cotto rematch) (That would be a great test for the youngster) What if Mayorga blows out Mosley, Imagine a Sluggfest Vs. Sat. winner? :bbb Just Playin' Devil's Advocate...
This is old news, Judah had to pull out of his fight with Mosley temporarily because of a serious cut he suffered on his hand and Mosley's team didn't want to reschedule so they went for Mayorga instead.
Sounds like Shane's first Vargas fight, but i'm not sure if it was a 12rd stoppage and it was a tko... But in truth i wish them both the best and may the better fighter that night win, my problem is in the match making, i would have even preffered if Shane fought Cintron instead of Mayorga who's last fight was at SMW!!!
Mayorga said after the Fernando fight that he would never fight at anything above Middleweight again. During the Post Fight he said Vargas hit too hard. "Im going back down to 147"
Whats he going to do when Mayorga force kisses Jin at the Press Conference? Smile and tell everyone how he is above silly altercations? ****, maybe he ought to try some cuckold stuff while Mayorga and Jin get better acquainted in the Hotel Room.
Hellz****inyeah! The thought of fights like this just gets me pumped. Granted, when I heard Judah was injured I was hellapissed, but this could be a great one too. Let us hope. Actually, let us rage about it. Come all fellow boxing fans; we're takin' this sport back! We're comin' out-guns ****in' blazin'!
I'm aware of Mayorga's remarks, but that doesn't change the fact that it has been a few good years since Mayorga doesn't fight at welterweight, besides that was just one of the reasons why Mayorga doesn't look like the best choice legacy wise for Mosely to face in this stage of his career. But who cares really, what's done is done and no matter how many other ways i would have had it I'm still watching the fight :conf
all i am going to say is that i saw trinidad land a glur of power shots againsy mayorga and the sucker lasted a good few rounds. i think mayorga will last long against shane but will be ko'd
