Could go either way, I lean towards Whitaker but it would be a real competitive fight.

wtf do people think whitaker will win easily? mosley had a lot of power and speed he'd beat whitaker. witaker has great relexes but at lightweight mosley was the man

Wow, great analysis! You covered all the bases there! Great work.

Let me just add that Mosley had difficulties with out-boxers, in particular jabbers who he's unable to close the distance on and unleash his hands. Add in the fact that Whitaker is the more skilled in-fighter, mid-range, and out-fighter, and I think you could possibly argue it in his case. But you're right, all a fighter typically needs to beat Whitaker is speed and power.

Whitaker schools Mosley worse than Winky did.

Sweet Pea by near shutout nearly every time...Mosley looked awesome at 135 but against who?

He just isnt in Whitaker's league...Id give him a better chance at 147.

Whitaker by clear decision. The more skilled, smarter, better boxer overcomes Mosley's physical advantages.

Mosley has serious flaws that Sweet Pea would exploit to an easy decision.

i hate this thread...they're two of my all time favourites.

BUT whitaker wins. Mosley would be chasing shadows all night and quick as he is, he wouldn't catch Pea. Add to that the fact that he'd spend most rounds at the tip of Whitaker's jab, his greatest asset, his body attack, would amount to a whole lot of nothing.
