Shane Mosley is now the top WW in the world. As such, everyone will be gunning for his crown. So let's take a look at some of the challengers to the throne.

Paul Williams - Forget about this fight, it's not going to happen. In fact Williams should just forget about the WW division all together and focus on 154 and 160. Williams is exactly the type of fighter that can give Mosley all sorts of problems. Williams also isn't a big draw, and hasn't fought at WW since last June. It's a lose/lose situation for Mosley. In his younger days, Shane would take on this type of foolish fight. However, he's not young anymore. He only has so many fights left in him. There are bigger names out there that offer Shane a bigger reward.

Joshua Clottey - If Clottey can get a big win under his belt, this fight could happen. As of now, I don't see it happening. I really don't think Shane wants to see that turtle shell defense again if he doesn't have to.

Miguel Cotto - This fight could happen in June. I know Arum wants a Cotto/Margo rematch. However, I don't think team Cotto wants it. That fight isn't as marketable now. Cotto vs. Shane would be a ppv hit. The first fight was very close(I scored it a draw). With Richardson in his corner, and with Cotto being softened up by Margo, Shane could win this fight this time.

Manny Pacquiao - This fight is possible for next winter. However, I don't think Pac would take this fight. Unlike Oscar, Mosley wouldn't be stupid enough to drain himself and come in at 147. Mosley would come in at a healthy 160. He would be fast, strong, and probably too much for Pac. Shane would take this fight in a heartbeat. Pac, on the other hand, would probably pass on this fight.

Ricky Hatton - Another possible fight for next winter. This would be a bad fight for Ricky. Mosley is too big and strong for him. Ricky would get battered and abused. I doubt Ricky would be up to the challenge

Floyd Mayweather Jr. - This is the fight everyone wants to see. This would be a pretty big fight that would be a great matchup of styles. Golden Boy is already set to contact Team Mayweather. However, does Floyd really want to fight again? He seems happy retired. If he is up to it, it would most definately be great fight.

    My favorite:
    1. Cotto (the first was really good)
    2. Floyd (always wanted to see that one)
    3. Other top welters (Williams, Clottey, Berto)

I would like PBF stepped up and finally fight the best WW in the division.
If not then either Williams or Cotto is the next natural choice.
Winner of PAC-HAtton as the backup.

Cotto first, then Clottey, then maybe Berto, just to get him out of the way.

How can someone choose the Cotto fight over Floyd? We've seen Cotto vs Mosley, surely Floyd vs Mosley would get you more excited?
