Also needs to fight more often if he is fighting journeymen.

Great breakdown of what Moses does so well by Malik Scott. Get him out against a Jermaine Franklin next and then it’s a top ten contender.

Yeah, almost half way into the year and he's only fought once. He should be fighting 4 times or more a year if he's just fighting scrubs. Will also help with promoting him, if he's busy and staying in the public eye. He can't be fighting just once or twice per year at such an early stage in his career. He needs at least two more fights this year if he is to keep facing journeymen.

Inactivity at this stage of his career will only hurt him and limit his ability to develop. He has a lot of potential but if he is poorly managed he'll never fulfil that potential.

Moses Itauma is 5 years younger than anyone else in boxing recs top 50 and is 7 years younger than Dubois. He is over a decade younger than the guys you want him to fight. I think we need to pump the brakes. Hes 12 fights in and is fighting guys with 1 loss to top 10 opponents. How much faster do you want his development to go?

Even if Moses was ready the previous generation of champions left a long ass line of 30 somethings who never got a title shot. Not that he should have to wait 10 years or any of thats Itaumas fault but hes way ahead of schedule. Hes already defended his minor intercontinental belt three times in a year.

Someone durable and decent like Vianello, Franklin or Joyce would be perfect next.

He defended his minor title 3 times in the past year(plus a week). How many regional champs defend their belts more than 3 times a year?

Better opposition has to want to fight him too.

What ranked fighter wants to get tuned up by a 20 year old prospect?

Don’t give two shits about him until we see what happens when he starts fighting opponents that punch back and we see what kind of Chin he has. How many hype jobs have we seen that ended up being nothing but front running Glass Jawed Frauds over the recent years?

Yeah that's all well and good but his last opponent he stopped in 1 round and it took 6 months for him to fight another opponent which was a 41 year old.

In comparison Mike Tyson when he was an upcoming contender fought 26 times in under 2 years.

So no excuses he needs to be more active especially if his fights are only lasting 1 or 2 rounds.

Bakole was out of shape and awful in his last two fights, he needs to train just as hard as Moses does to even stand a chance.
