    It would have been a decent step-up for Itauma personally at the stage of his career. He can't say now though everyone is ducking him (Hrgovic, Franklin) when he could be fighting Sanchez for the IBF eliminator.

    Frank Sanchez V Richard Torrez then I believe for the IBF eliminator.

    In other words, they want to wait until Usyk retires and then try to pick off whoever’s left between AJ and Fury for one of the vacant belts. Or maybe wait and see if Dubois gets one of them back after Usyk retires and that’d also be a big UK fight.

    Because any sane person would know he's not remotely ready for Usyk. All that happens if they fight is that Usyk derails the Ituama hype train. Far better for Ituama to actually get some rounds before challenging the final boss of boxing.
