Right now I’d take a prime Byrd to win on points. A year from now my opinion may change depending on what Itauma does. Byrd was a very good boxer and was well accustomed to facing big men who could punch
There just isn't enough evidence yet to back Itauma here as of now. Prime Chris Byrd has accomplished far more than Itauma. But, certainly very possible that could change.
The culture of the moment will say Itauma. But this guy ducked a IBF Eliminator against Frank Sanchez (who is not on the same level than Chris Byrd).
