I've got Ball 5-3 up, it's not like Goodman is putting on a clinic, he's getting caught a lot on the inside.

 

Good eighth. Ball throwing in bursts of 3-5 punches after erupting from his Philly shell or high guard, but missing a lot. Goodman lower on workrate but drilling through Ball's guard with some solid straight rights.

Ball squeaks that with the last flurry - depends what you like, Ball's heavier, but ragged shots, or Goodman's more technical, cleaner but less impactful work. Still another couple of solid bodyshots from Goodman, Ball headhunting and seems to be neglecting the body

 

As long as the cards are close, I will be OK.

Announcers are talking about how great Goodman is doing, but the fight Im watching Ball is the one landing basically ALL the notable shots.

Ive never seen a fight so differently from the commentators.

Id give Goodman 1, maybe 2 rounds.

 

I'm favouring Nick Balls more effective shots. But either could be ahead on the judges cards

 

For the fourth time, after 8 rounds, Andy Lee has it level.

 

I really need Ball to win this one.
