I have a suspicious feeling it’s going to be Shattered Glass and Shattered Dreams live in crystal clear HDTV tonight. Wait and see.

Itauma absolutely flattens Hrgovic inside 3 rounds, and I’m only saying 3 because I’m feeling charitable. I genuinely don’t understand anyone picking Hrgovic here.

He gets hit clean, fights with his hands around his nipples and has all the defensive urgency of a bloke waiting for a bus. Itauma is exactly the wrong opponent for that nonsense.

Moses will be landing straight lefts before Hrgovic has even finished loading up his first lumbering right hand. Couple of clean shots, legs go, ref jumps in, job done.

    Two rounds.

I’m saying “inside 3” just to be diplomatic. Don’t want to sound unreasonable.

Itauma is the next Joshua in the making, only with less power; he relies on speed that he won't have forever...

If Hrgovic punches with, circles, and leads dynamically to stop Itauma from setting his feet, the fight becomes very interesting. Worst case scenario is Hrgovic gassing and becoming a punching bag, but I have a feeling this can become a slippery slope for Itauma. Inexperienced, fed punching bags. Never had to fight somebody this granite, who has been in with numerous devastating hitters, and who actually has a fair amount of skill himself.

That being said, I wouldn't mind Itauma living up to the 'Heir Apparent' hype. Superstars are exciting to watch, rise or fall.

A 21 year old young, trained man won't get tired, no way.

well i am a big moses fan and my new favorite hw but we can't say that yet because we havnt seen him go 8 10 or 12 rounds yet vs a legit top 10 guy . i mean i put hrgovic chance of winning at like 20% max thats all im saying there is always a chance lol.

Erm, maybe because Hrgo has only ever touched that canvas once from Zhang and has only failed to go 12 once on cuts?

Picking Itauma is reasonable, it's ot unreasonable to expect Hrgo to take him past the halfway stage - inside 3 is possible don't get me wrong, but I'm not expecting that outside a Foster special!

And that Zhang knockdown was a pull on a notoriously slippery floor that night.

The only thing I don't like with Hrgovic is that despite his solid chin. He switches off sometimes in fights and allows his opponents to wail away at him.

There was times in the Zhang fight where he would do this weird thing of turning away a few times looking lost and disoriented.

And again against Adeleye a fight he was winning easily again he switches off in the fight. And then out of nowhere he's on the verge of getting stopped getting hit with like 20+ unanswered punches.

So whilst I don't expect Itauma to stop Hrgovic early I can see a scenario where Hrgovic switches off in the fight. And then Itauma unloads on him with a volley of fast punches stopping him on his feet in what some would deem a quick stoppage.

    Something like that could happen.

But I'm just excited to see how it will all pan out alot of unanswered questions will be answered tonight in regards to if Itauma is the real deal or not.

Whether Itauma has as good of a career as Joshua still remains to be seen, but he’s already shown he’s technically better than Joshua ever was. Honestly, I don’t think their skill level is even close.

I don’t know why people keep making excuses for the Zhang knockdown, I’ve seen “slippery floor”, “back of the head” etc. The reality is Zhang picked up very early that Hrgovic has a somewhat lazy jab that he doesn’t bring back to his guard straight away, and afterwards he doesn’t exit to the side or move his head off the line, so Zhang timed him with a short lead right hook.

Coincidentally this is the key for Itauma. If Hrgovic hasn’t ironed out this flaw, he’s going to get caught with the southpaw lead right hook again.
