Itauma is a modern day heavyweight contender at 6'3, 250 pounds and a southpaw with KO power, could he give Holmes problems ?
250? Iteuma was 235 in his last fight, and has a build similar to an in shape Witherspoon. That said, I haven't seen that kind of hand speed and fluid combination punching in a guy that size in a very long time, if ever. He looks much, much more impressive to me against tomato cans and washed up guys than Dubois, Joshua or Wilder ever did. But he's still completely untested. I'll bet pretty heavily on Holmes at this point.
Not holding his left hand at his waist. Not against a world glass jabber like Larry. He'll get busted up and I really do not think he is all that competitive with that hand placement & defense and against a guy that moves his feet in there. And is highly effective punching while moving those feet.
Itauma, although untested, has the power to knock down Holmes, boxing is evolving and Itauma is a fast and strong fighter with exceptional skills, albeit with an untested chin...
