Its actually worse in relation to you saying he cant rebuild ,however similar context as Haye gassed and came back and rebuilt and took more of a beating than Ituama took

Of course he can rebuild he's still very young and was doing well until he gassed. This is one loss this forum is so dumb at times. Did hrgovic rebuild after getting beat by Dubois?? I guess Moses should just quit boxing going by your logic.

    yes..he should quit boxing..
moses has had people heaping praise on him for years, and no matter what, it's embedded in his psyche..
    then, the hrgovic fight..
he was out psyched and out foxed since the fight was made
all during fight week, the way hrgovic looked, especially when they were in each other's presence, hrgovic outfoxed him mentally...
    now, the fight..
yes, itauma was having his way for a lot of the fight, but he was also looking at a guy who was telling him, ''i got you son, i ain't going anywhere''
when hrgovic finally caught up to him and damaged him, he damaged him good and in more ways than one..
itauma getting stretchered out will most certainly scar him for life..
here was a guy who had his way in a lot of spars, amateur fights nd pro fights..
to lose the way he did, and get stretchered out, they're things he'll never erase from his psyche and sub conciousness..

Lmfao! The dude basically won every round until the stoppage at 22 but he should quit because he gassed? Man people like you think you're smarter than you really are saying things you want to be true and passing them off as fact. This is boxing fighters lose. So I guess once you lose your first fight you should quit the sport. There's no doubt Moses is talented he needs to work on pace and stamina and come back from this he can learn alot from this loss. It wasn't like he got outclassed and beat down that didnt happen the guy clearly will be back. Ive seen guys who take beatings in their first loss and come back and have great careers. You're doing nothing more than wishful thinking here that's all.

I remember when Hughie “Shades of Ali” Fury was “only young” and how being so young he would have a brilliant and dominant future.

    Whatever happened to him?

I don't think Itauma should quit. But Hrgovic and his corner were confident the entire time. They knew what they had to do. Itauma was winning rounds but he lost the war that's what counts. Also Filip has a very good case for shading a couple as well. He was doing much better than what the biased English commentary team were suggesting.

    Sarcasm on sarcasm!

    irony
    /ˈīrənē/
Irony is a contrast or difference between expectation and reality, or between what is said and what is actually meant. [1]
According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, it is a literary device or curious event where appearance contradicts reality. [1, 2, 3]

The Three Main Types of Irony
    • Verbal Irony: When a person says one thing but means the exact opposite. Example: Saying "Oh, wonderful" when you lose your keys. [1]
    • Situational Irony: When the actual outcome of an event is totally different from what people reasonably expect. Example: A fire station burning down. [1]
    • Dramatic Irony: When the audience or reader knows a vital piece of information that a character does not know. Example: Knowing a character is walking into a trap in a movie. [1]

    yeah!!!
the dude won nearly every round
    but!!!
look at who he was up against and what his thoughts were about the fight before the fight..
he thought hrgovic was easy pickings
look at what happened during the coarse of the fight.
he was whacking hrgovic, anf hrgovic wasn't going anywhere
as the fight went on, that was also mental fatigue coupled with the beating hrgovic dished out to him in the latter part of the fight..
i've seen fighters come back from ko losses
roberto duran after hearns knocked him out
thomas hearns after losses to leonard and hagler
larry holmes after tyson beat him
mike tyson after douglas beat him and so on
i've also seen fighters who had high ko ratio's, john mugabi comes to mind
mugabi was blowing people away until he fought hagler
he was never the same after that fight
what i don't like about itauma and his loss to hrgovic is how he was touted and hyped to be the next big thing in boxing, the second coming of mike tyson, potentially better than ali,and he only had 14 fights..absolutely ridiculous..
he's had people singing his praises for years..
no matter what, when you hear things like that, it's always in the back of his mind
i said before the fight that hrgovic was going to take him to a dark place, and he did..
itauma entered the ring believing he was a killer, a destroyer..
he could have beaten most heavyweights, but to lose the way he did, then getting stetchered out after the fight has mentally scarred him for life..
it's the day after the fight, and he still hasn't faced the press yet..
    people are talking about this
how is he going to feel when he's in the public..
    he's damaged goods

There was nothing whatsoever controversial or unfair about the stoppage, it was clinically conclusive. An age old situation played out, a fighter begins to tire going into the championship rounds and the other fighter begins to go to work and becomes more effective with what's in their own tool bag. He needs to rebuild and get back in line and earn his way to another title shot and rematch. It will be very bad for him to face Hrgovic again anytime soon. He's 21, superbly talented and he can do a lot in the sport but right now he has a lot to improve and learn.

Chico Corrales was built up as this undefeated young ko monster but got completely undressed outclassed beat up and stopped by pbf. It was complete domination way worse than what happened to moses so by your logic he should've just simply quit the sport and went on with his life but he didnt he hit rock bottom went to jail and went on to win multiple titles after and got elected into the boxing hall of fame. My point is you can bounce back from 1st losses sometimes better than ever. You dont know that he's finished especially at only 22 years old. Imo this is a desperate reach but hey you're entitled to your opinion no matter how much I may disagree with it.
