Apparently Wardley is set to face pulev next for the wba which means he’d drop the British and commonwealth titles. Itauma vs Adeleye for those maybe?
You're right, he's not, but he's still very early into his career, so it wouldn't hurt him too much if he faced him.
Fwank should offer dullian a retirement pay cheque. I doubt he'll have the nuts to take the fight though
I would personally put him in with Jermaine Franklin, Franklin is tough has a chin and give give Moses rounds.
Agreed, I was the biggest fanboy but I've since moved on and matured from that. As for Moses vs Whyte or Franklin... I think that it's an interesting proposition but Franklin is a tough cookie. He took Whyte and Joshua the distance, so he can take a punch. Beating McKean was a good scalp for Moses in the manmer he did it, but hardly worthy of a comparison to Franklin or Whyte who are levels above in opposition/danger. I'd of course back a fighting fit shape Whyte to beat Moses today because Moses is still a kid and you can't cut corners on the experience Whyte has built up. Not a good a match up for moses anyway, plenty other potential match ups to continue his progression.
Unless it's for the British title, the fight seems unlikely as Whyte has no ranking. Likewise Franklin has no ranking, going on the basis that they are trying to get him to a world title shot as quickly as possible.
Moses needs experience and to be marketed to the casuals; I'd personally stick him in with a past Joshua opponent; someone like Charles Martin would be ideal. Blast him out in a round, and the casuals will eat it up, and Warren can spin the narrative whilst getting another one over on Hearn, then you can roll the dice with someone more durable, such as Pulev or Takem. Maybe even drag Breazale or Povetkin out of retirement. If he KOs them, you put him with Ruiz, and if he does a number on him, the casuals will be thinking Moses is King Kong, and Warren will have rattled Hearn so much he will likely be visiting the same hair specialist as Beckham, especially if Joshua gets polaxed again. Back in the day, they built Bruno v. Bugner, matching them against mutually respected over-the-hill names, and sold out White Heart Lane on the back of it. Hearn Snr. did something similar with Eubank in order to get the first Benn fight and to put Eubank over to the casuals. Remember the knockout Eubank had over Dos Santos; he even won Naz over that night as he stood there in stunned awe.
This is one thing Warren is not very good at and Eddie excels in. Moses has almost no footprint either on social media or amongst casuals. He also doesn't seem to have much about him to help that although he is young and may come out of his shell in time. They need to create a narrative for him.
